SIB is a French company founded in 1922 in Boulay-Moselle with 115 employees. One of the first product lines was bakelite terminals for street lighting. Over the years, SIB has grown and in 2011 became part of the Schlemmer Group, a German company focused on the automotive market. SIB designs, manufactures and sells brass, stainless steel and plastic products and accessories for the electrical, railway, shipping and mining industries, as well as ATEX certified products for hazardous environments (oil and gas, petrochemicals, etc.) and a full range of products for the construction industry.
