Founded in 1858, Cottam Brush Ltd has grown from a small workshop in Samuel Cottams home in Sunderland to become one of the worlds foremost designers and manufacturers of trade, industrial and professional brushes. Family-run for six generations, Cottam Brush is a product of the industrial heartland of the North East. With our historic links to the regions shipyards, docks, foundries and mines, we have served local businesses, craftsmen and industry for over 160 years. From our beginnings handcrafting brushes for businesses locally and across the country, our journey has been closely tied to the processes of our people, city and country that we are so proud of.
