WECO
WECO is an engineering design company founded in 1921 in Hanau, Germany by two shareholders: one an engineer and the other an accountant. Years later, as technology developed, modern materials began to be commercialized on a large scale. WECO initially used thermosetting polymers, but gradually transitioned to thermoplastics, which opened the door to a wider range of design possibilities. At this time, the development of engineering and metal manufacturing in Germany was at its best, which successfully pushed WECO into many new markets that came with the expansion of industrialization. In the process, other partners and talented members continued to join and enrich the team. Over the years, WECO has continuously expanded its business in Europe and established branches or offices in Tunisia, North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Now, WECO is a well-known multinational company headquartered in Montreal, Canada and operating worldwide. It will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2021.
