COIL
COIL was originally based on the Slough Trading Estate, then one of the largest and most dynamic industrial sites in Europe. We now have offices in Buckingham (UK), Latrobe (USA) and Shanghai (China). United Optical Industries, Inc. was founded by Arthur Kingston in 1936 and is considered a leader in plastic optics. The company pioneered the use of injection and compression molding to precision mold plastic optics. As more and more low vision products were introduced, the "COIL" brand began to be recognized around the world.
