Triplett
Triplett Corporation was founded in 1904 by Ray L. Triplett in Bluffton, Ohio. Tripletts first innovative product was the "hot wire" meter, an electrical test meter enclosed in a case. Innovations continued... the READRITE Model 201 Electron Tube Tester in the 1920s, the 1200 Series Radio Tuning Tester in the 1930s, and meters used by the U.S. Signal Corps during World War II. In 1955, Triplett introduced the famous Model 310 Handheld Analog Volt/Ohmmeter, still in production and highly sought after today.
