In 2023 we are proud to celebrate Sollateks 40th anniversary. The company was founded in London, UK by Dr. Janan Allos, a professor of electrical engineering. Janan wanted to find a solution to the damage that unstable electricity could cause to electrical and electronic equipment, a phenomenon he experienced while living in Iraq. The result was his invention of the Automatic Voltage Switcher (AVS), which he held a patent for 17 years.
