The Lowe&&Fletcher Group traces its origins to 1889 when John Lowe and Thomas Fletcher established a lockmaking business in Willenhall, the birthplace of British lock manufacturing and situated in the famous Black Country industrial heartland of the British Empire. Today, we remain the only large family-owned lockmaker still operating in the Black Country. However, over the past 125 years we have grown into a truly international business, with factories and operations in Europe and the United States. While locking systems remain an important part of our business, we have also diversified into fire safety products.
