Intel
Intel is the worlds second largest semiconductor company and the first company to launch the x86 architecture CPU. It is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, USA. Robert Noyce, Gordon Moore, and Andy Grove co-founded the company on July 18, 1968 under the name of "Integrated Electronics", combining high-end chip design capabilities with industry-leading manufacturing capabilities. Intel also develops motherboard chipsets, network cards, flash memory, graphics chips, embedded processors, and products related to communications and computing.
