Tabor was founded in 1971 as a spin-off of Elron Corporation, Israels first "start-up," based on Zvi Glazers most innovative invention, the worlds first automatic counter. Tabor began as a Tier 1 designer and manufacturer of test and measurement products such as multimeters, power meters, digital multimeters, digitizers, and generators, and has evolved over the past two decades into a leader in the signal source market. Over the years, Tabor has produced its own brand products and has been an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for industry-leading brands. Notable OEM customers include Ballentine, Keithley, KONTRON, WaveTek, Pragmatic, TEGAM and LeCroy.
