PREMA SEMICONDUCTOR
The history of PREMA (PRecision-Electronics MAinz) begins in 1970 and can be traced back to the development and production of digital measuring devices. Founded by Dr. Hartmut Grtze-Dick and Dr. Joachim Scheele, the company is based on very high-resolution analog-to-digital converters (A/D converters) developed and patented by itself. For many years, these measuring devices have been among the pioneers and market leaders in this field. After 30 years of successful company history, the strategic change from measuring devices to semiconductor technology was completed in 2000. At that time, semiconductor technology was already part of production. Until now, the measuring devices manufactured by PREMA have been calibrated and repaired.
