Powersem GmbH was founded in 1985 by Madan Mohan Chadda in Schwabach, Germany, as a company dedicated to the design, development and production of chip semiconductor modules for more than 100 years. Today, POWERSEM is considered one of the world leaders in providing isolated base package modules for standard, fast single-phase, three-phase, half-phase and fully controlled power semiconductor modules including solid state relays. POWERSEM GmbH has also successfully established strategic alliances with high-tech silicon foundries, demonstrating a comprehensive commitment to serve its customers now and in the future. These small but thermally efficient microcircuit modules offer the "Single PACKAGE" concept and can be used as a single device in series or in parallel to replace SOT-227, TO-247 discrete devices as well as older standards traditionally used by various competitors. Currents range from 8 – 230 Amps and voltages up to 1800 Volts are standard. POWERSEM continues to innovate new modular power semiconductor solutions that meet the demanding requirements of the electronics industry and offer outstanding quality and reliability. This high-tech integration is the basis for providing customers with complete solutions using multi-chip technology (MCT) and single packaged modules.
