Pi-Plates
Our goal is to design and build peripheral boards with features that appeal to a wide range of users, including experimenters, hobbyists, and professionals. From the beginning, we wanted to be able to stack these boards in any combination, which led to the name Pi-Plates. These products required hardware design, board layout using Eagle, writing embedded C firmware, coding in Python, building overseas relationships, building SMT prototypes using a frying pan, and creating this website. Going forward, we plan to launch more boards, and our friends and family will help us with functional testing, programming, kitting, packaging, and shipping.
