Piergiacomi
Founded in 1979, Piergiacomi Sud is one of the first manufacturers in the world to offer specific hand tools for the electronics industry. Prior to this, with the advent of electronics, forged tools began to be imported from Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland, but these tools were too heavy and not suitable for more delicate processes. For this reason, in 1979, the founders Enrico Carini and his brother Ermanno, already involved in the family business established in 1923 by their grandfather Ubaldo Piergiacomi, decided to make lighter, smaller and cheaper tools, specifically designed for work with electronics. Since then, the range has been exported to more than 50 countries, constantly evolving and specializing, and it now includes 400 different specific tools for every possible job in the field of electronics assembly.
