Paulstra
Paulstra has developed leading expertise in the field of vibroacoustics since 1934. The adventure began in aviation when founder Jean-Flix Paulsen designed the suspension Dynaflex to solve the delicate problem of vibration transmission to aircraft wings. The first watchmaking factory opened in Chteaudun in 1937, followed by Segr in 1961. Hutchinson, a natural rubber manufacturer, acquired the Paulstra Association in 1974. In the same year, Total acquired a majority stake in the Hutchinson Group. In 1994, Paulstra acquired Vibrachoc, a company specializing in metal suspensions.
