The company was founded in 1980 as a producer of high-quality printed circuit boards for the commercial and military markets. While Capital has produced a variety of circuit board types including single-sided, double-sided and multi-layer, a particular emphasis has been placed on utilizing and developing technologies and processes that can enhance substrate performance. During this time, Capital has produced circuit boards incorporating features such as printed polymer thick film ground planes and shields, printed resistors, capacitors, detectors, transducers, electroluminescent lamps, and a variety of hybrid polymer thick film and traditional printed circuit technologies.
