Beijing Ingenic Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. was established in 2005. Based on the innovative CPU design technology of the founding team, it quickly realized the industrialization of SoC chips in the consumer electronics market. In May 2011, the company was listed on the Shenzhen Growth Enterprise Market (300223). Ingenic continues to invest in core areas such as multimedia encoding and decoding, image signal processing, AI engine, AI algorithm, and has formed its own technical capabilities. Its chips have gained a stable and broad market in the fields of intelligent video surveillance, AIoT, industrial and consumer, biometrics, and educational electronics. In 2020, Ingenic completed the acquisition of Beijing Silicon Integrated Circuits (ISSI) and its subsidiary brand Lumissil, and owns 100% of its shares. ISSI was founded in Silicon Valley in 1988. It mainly provides, develops and designs high-tech, high-performance, high-quality and cost-effective integrated circuit chips for electronic products in the automotive, industrial and medical, communications and enterprise equipment, and consumer markets, and has established long-term supply relationships with global users. Among them, ISSI storage department has high-speed and low-power SRAM, low-medium density DRAM, NOR/NAND Flash, embedded Flash pFusion, and eMMC chip products. Lumissil, the analog and interconnection department, has LED driver, touch sensor, audio driver, microprocessor, power management and interconnection chip products.
