Envox Experimental Zone
We are a company with a long history, developing our own software solutions. A few years ago, the founders wanted to start dealing with electronics again, which started with the search for a programmable power supply as an indispensable device on every electronic engineers desk. The search led to frustration due to unrealistic expectations of finding such a device on the market, open enough, i.e. repairable and hackable, for further hardware and software modifications and extensions. And so our new adventure began. The Envox Experimental Zone (EEZ) started as a playground, where we started intensive research on various prototypes for our first project, the H24005 Arduino-based dual-channel programmable power supply. In parallel, experiments on the software side began, and EEZ Studio soon became a practical tool for developing touchscreen GUIs and working with benchtop instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
