The CTEK story began 25 years ago in Vikmanshyttan, a small village in Dalarna, Sweden. This is where our founder - Swedish inventor Bengt Wahlqvist created the first battery charger using electronic pulse technology. And, thanks to Bengt’s technical expertise and perseverance, the world’s first “smart” battery charger was born. Since our founding in 1997 our product range has grown significantly to meet the needs of car owners, professional workshops and many other industry applications.
