Our company name BERNSTEIN made its official debut at the German Radio and Television Exhibition in Dsseldorf in 1953. At that time, BERNSTEIN was the technical department of the BERNSTEIN RUCKESENWALLEN GROSSHANDELONG company in Remscheid Lennep. Just three years later, the technical department developed into an independent tool factory. During this period, Bernstein designed and produced a special range of hand tools for the maintenance and repair of radios, televisions and other hi-fi equipment. In the following years, the radio and television industries flourished and by 1970, Bernstein products were represented and known at nearly every European trade show. Bernstein still stands for the production of electronic and precision mechanical hand tools, which are currently produced as conductive or dissipative ESD tools for protection against electrostatic charges. Together with our partners, we supply these ESD tools to industry in Germany, Europe and around the world.
