Alcor was officially established in Taiwan in 1999. Its professional team comes from Silicon Valley, USA. It specializes in designing, manufacturing, and marketing various highly integrated IC design and software solutions, in order to provide real-time technical support and services to customers around the world and close cooperation with wafer foundries. Alcor was deeply involved in the field of hub control chips in the early days, and released the first USB keyboard hub control chip in 2000, which was also adopted by Apple iMAC keyboard.
