Thin Film / Vishay
Founded in 1978 in Niagara Falls, New York, the facility became a technology leader in advanced processes for precision resistor products: thin and thick film wraparound, silicon and ceramic resistor networks. With high-tech manufacturing processes such as precision laser trimming, automated wire bonding, advanced photolithography precision patterning, hermetic seams and superior sputter deposition, Ohmtek grew to serve a wide range of industries and applications. Acquired by Vishay in 1988, the facility now known as Vishay Dale Thin Film has a strong portfolio of high-precision surface mount chips, surface mount networks, through-hole (leaded) resistors, hybrid resistor/capacitor networks, and thermal management devices. Vishay Dale Thin Film uses high-precision techniques, including photolithographic precision patterning, to provide designers and engineers with a wide range of custom resistor values with tight tolerances over the smallest possible area. Vishay Dale Thin Films material technologies include Tameroux, Tantalum Nitride, Nichrome, Ruthenium, and Passivated Nichrome. Our technologies provide a broad portfolio of high-precision, high-temperature, high-power, high-frequency, thermal management, and non-magnetic resistors for a wide variety of applications. Our portfolio helps provide the foundation for everyone that brings modern technology to life every day. We call it the DNA of Technology™ Weishihui Films has passed ISO14001:2015, ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016 and OHSAS18001:2007 certifications.
