Platt was the first company to introduce combination locks on luggage, padded handles, custom hardware, and polyurethane trays. We were the first to mold bowling bags out of plastic and the first to mold plastic end caps on catalog boxes, a technological breakthrough at the time. Manufactured in a unionized plant in Chicago since 1921, we offer same-day shipping on all Platts standard products, and custom cases can be quickly produced in our extensive in-house sewing and molding departments. Platt offers unique custom cases that include: custom foam inserts, custom colors, custom trays, custom hardware, in-mold logos, nameplates, screen printing and embroidery. Our product development team and experienced engineering staff have the knowledge to create a custom case or custom foam insert to meet your unique requirements. Platts state-of-the-art technology, including in-house CAD design, CNC production machinery, water jet cutters, vacuum formers, foam making saws and crimping machines, sets it above other machines.
